Controls and automation giant ABB has today (2 July 2013) confirmed that it has completed the acquisition of Dynamotive, initially revealed on 7 June 2013.
Coalville-based Dynamotive designs, commissions and upgrades drives systems, controls and motors for industrial and marine applications and automotive test rigs.
ABB says the acquisition strengthens its service operations, particularly its upgrading and retrofit capabilities in low- and medium-voltage drives.
The company also expects to see increased sales of industrial motion packages, including drives, motors, controls and related services.
