Air France and Airbus have entered negotiations to create a joint venture (JV) aimed at better meeting the long-term maintenance needs of the Airbus A350 worldwide fleet.

There are currently more than 1,000 Airbus A350 aircrafts on order and currently 550 currently in service worldwide.
The JV would support the fleet through enhanced capacity, an expanded global footprint and the development of solutions to benefit customers.
The objective is for the JV to be operational by the first half of 2024.
