Andrew Teich, formerly president of Flir Systems Commercial Systems division, is taking over from Earl Lewis as president and CEO of Flir Systems.
Lewis assumes a new role as senior advisor to aid in the transition, and remains as chairman of the board of directors.
Teich has almost 40 years experience in the thermal imaging industry, rising through the ranks of sales engineer and sales manager to vice president of sales and marketing at Inframetrics, the infrared camera manufacturer ultimately acquired by Flir in 1999.
Since 2000, Teich has undertaken a variety of top management roles throughout the Flir Systems business.
