AVEVA Instrumentation says it is helping plant engineers to achieve design and material savings of 30% or more on instrumentation and controls – according to feedback from the customers.

The company, which was set up last June, says it has now released the 'AVEVA Instrumentation solution', offering "even more time-, effort- and money-saving enhancements.
As part of this, engineers can now view an interface to the AVEVA schematic model online, to synchronise instrument and loop data.
For instrument and control system design, they can also see an enhanced wiring diagram, with field instrument, field junction block and control cabinet marshalling all on a single page.
AVEVA Instrumentation uses Microsoft SQL Server, Access and Excel, and uses simple drag-and-drop functionality for instrumentation and control system design.
