The agreement covers a range collaborative ideas and opportunities, primarily geared around the development of improved skills and enhanced technology understanding across the pump sector.
Exploring additional content to strengthen the BPMA’s existing range of training courses and evaluating the scope for funded collaboration across a range of technologies pertinent to pump systems engineering, will form the bedrock of the arrangement.
Commenting on the MCA, Professor George Aggidis PhD, MSc, BEng(Hons), CEng, CMarEng, Eur Ing, MASME, FIMarEST, FEI, FIMechE, FIET, said: ” By aligning the respective strengths of engineering academia and commercial enterprise, jointly delivered ‘added value’ services can be determined for the mutual benefit of members, students and stakeholders alike. I am thrilled that we have this agreement in place and excited by the potential activities that the collaboration could deliver.”
