Emerson’s hails first European users exchange a success

Emerson's first Global Users Exchange in Europe attracted more than 1,000 delegates for a mix of presentations, keynotes, industry forums and product technical sessions.
The three-day event in Düsseldorf, Germany, opened with an address from Emerson Process Management's president Steve Sonnenberg, focusing on the themes of investment and trust. Sonnenberg revealed that nearly 4,000 employees were added globally in 2011, together with new manufacturing locations and regional service centres, all with a common objective – to provide responsive, local support. Delegates then chose from 100 presentations, predominantly from end users, and Emerson announced three new technologies: DeltaV SIS logic solver with TÜV-approved CHARM I/O technology; TÜV-certified CSI 6300 Digital Overspeed Protection System; and DVC 6200 SIS TÜV-certified digital valve positioner. The next Global Emerson Exchange will be held at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel, Anaheim, California, USA from 8—12 October. For more information visit the link below.
