EnerMech, a provider of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and integrity services, has achieved ‘granted’ status in the ‘Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR)’ programme.

This programme was developed by the UK technology, innovation and research organisation, the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, to support the development of a domestic supply chain focused on the renewables industry.

EnerMech, which has a renewables centre of excellence at Great Yarmouth, was granted F4OR status following an application process initially involving over 50 companies.

Andrew Stormonth-Darling, ORE Catapult’s Fit 4 Offshore Renewables programme manager added: “EnerMech has proven that is has the necessary business acumen, including in key disciplines such as health & safety and people management, and the know-how to apply that knowledge of the sector to target key corners of the market, and boost its chances of winning business.”
