Machinery safety and compliance consultancy Laidler Associates is sponsoring the new Plant Machinery Safety zone at Health and Safety '10 – North event, which takes place at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton on 13 and 14 October.
The company says it will give a presentation on practical machinery safety, using its virtual reality system to re-create a typical working environment.
It will also demonstrate how to complete and document a PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 98) assessment, as well as CE Marking to the Machinery and Low Voltage Directives.
Its presentation will also cover the requirements of the new Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC in this regard.
