Sulzer Dowding & Mills is now supplying Loher motors from Siemens Industry Automation & Drive Technologies.
Loher motors are designed specifically for use in hazardous applications, including those in the oil and gas and chemicals industries.
Flameproof motors stocked are available in two-pole up to 18.5kW and four-pole to 75kW. They are all IE2, as standard, and VIK and Shell DEP compliant.
The company states that they are also painted internally and externally to protect against corrosion even in the most challenging of environments.
Sulzer Dowding & Mills supplies, overhaul, repairs and stores high and low voltage motors, and services include equipment installation, motor rewind, motor certification and condition-based monitoring of HV switchgear and rotating plant.
