Packaging manufacturer Multi Packaging Solutions is reporting significantly reduced costs and improved efficiency since installing an industrial consumables vending system from MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) specialist Brammer.
Steve Johns, of MPS, explains that the firm sought Brammer's expertise to reduce costs on its spend on janitorial items – the objective being to cut time wasted by department managers identifying and ordering products on an 'as needed' basis.
Brammer audited current products and usage levels and recommended an automated vending system, with five machines across its Leicester facility, including two locker and one carousel.
John says savings are around 50% in costs alone, with additional time savings for managers and the benefit of complete stock visibility.
"Working with Brammer was an enlightening experience," comments Johns.
