Nord Drivesystems has expanded its fast assembly service for ATEX geared motors to include gas Zone 1 and 2 and dust Zone 21 and 22 for nominal motor power ratings up to 18.5kW.
The company says that its geared motors are available with a selection of options for standard delivery within three days or, for very urgent requirements, same day assembly and despatch.
Its 94/9/EC compliant range options include temperature class to T4 (135ºC) and both non-conductive and conductive dusts.
The ATEX classification 2G/Zone 1 geared motors available from the assembly service suit IEC frame ATEX rated motors in both standard and IE2 high efficiency classes, for frame sizes 80 to 180.
Geared units include a selection of foot and B14 or B5 face mount versions, with a choice of motor mounting positions.
Torque outputs are from 32 to 3200Nm, with options including synthetic and food grade oils, Viton seals and backstops.
