Schneider Electric's Green Plant facility, in Telford, West Midlands, is now offering a fixed-price drive repair service comprising standard, express and 'no fault found' services.
The site, which is the only approved Schneider Electric variable speed drive (VSD) repair centre in the UK, is offering the service on ATV 61 and 71 drives rated between 11kW and 90kW.
Neil Malpass, field service manager in charge of Schneider Electric's Green Plant facility, makes the point that not only do plant engineers no longer need to wait for quotes, but also no exclusions apply to this offer.
Prices, he says, are fixed regardless of the condition of the failed drive.
"We are proud to launch our new service, as we are continually striving to provide businesses with complete peace of mind when it comes to the servicing of their automation and control products," states Malpass.
For the standard service, turnaround time is up to 10 working days. An express for emergency repairs and return is guaranteed within three working days, provided the failed equipment is received by Green Plant before 12 noon.
Drives are either repaired or exchanged with a service replacement item.
