Super precision ball bearing manufacturer Barden Corp will be among exhibitors at this year's Engineering Design Show, from 22—23 October 2014 at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall, Ricoh Arena, Coventry).
Visitors will be able to see cross-sectional displays of super precision bearings for a range of applications, and quiz engineering experts on bearing selection and application issues.
Barden (whose parent company is Schaeffler, one of the show's headline sponsors), will also host a workshop on 23 October (11.15am t0 11.55am, Workshop Theatre 1), with business development manager Nick Dowding covering design and manufacture of to reduce total cost of ownership.
Attendees can expect to learn about optimising design, the value of good supply chains and how cost of ownership can be lower, even with a more expensive product or machine component.
