It is with great regret that Plant Engineer has to report the death of Dr Eliyahu Goldratt, aged 64, renowned developer of the application of Theory of Constraints.
Goldratt made a career of challenging assumptions, bringing the revolutionary concepts of Theory of Constraints to the worlds of manufacturing and business through a series of books, high-profile conferences and consulting roles.
He died on 11 June 2011 at his home in Israel.
