British variable speed drives manufacturer Invertek Drives has secured new contracts with two unnamed international automation companies to supply a range of Optidrives (E2, P2 and HVAC) for global use.
The new contracts are worth £6million per year to Invertek and sales and marketing director Rhydian Welson says he expects to see significant additional growth over the coming years.
"Investments in manufacturing, innovation and customer support facilities, together with commitment to product development and international marketing support, have been key factors in growing our global brand," he commented.
Invertek is one of the fastest growing companies in Wales – it won the Technology Award at the Made in Wales Awards held last month in Cardiff, and leapt up 17 places in the Fast Growth 50 Awards, which took place in September.
