Self supporting hood positioning devices (HPDs) for local exhaust ventilation (LEV) have been launched by Flextraction. Its Flextractor, Extended, Mini and Flextender all have mounting brackets, hoods and hoses for capturing and extracting industrial dusts and fumes, including hazardous and corrosive gases.
Options include tubed, ATEX compliance and stainless steel models, plus a fitted electronic airflow indicator.
The Extended HPD provides a longer reach up to 8m, while the wall or bench mounted mini HPD is available in three diameters – 75mm, 100mm and 250mm with either 1m or 1.5 m reaches.
Finally, the Flextender HPD has a telescopic extraction arm, covering from 1,200 to 1,650mm – ideal for low headroom or limited space applications.
