A hydraulic lubrication pump for use with hydraulic hammers is now available from SKF, providing lubrication even when tools are uncoupled and moved between machines.
SKF claims its HS04 automatic dispensing pump is robust enough for even the most aggressive environment,s and is quick and simple to maintain. Delivery rates can be adjusted using a flow restrictor on the unit and the pump also has a manual lubricating nipple for emergency lubrication.
For difficult applications, it can operate at low temperatures and under water. Meanwhile, maintenance – for example, to change the cartridge or clean the oil strainer – is quick and easy.
