What's more, they can run at higher flow rates, while cost and lead times have been cut, as a result of product standardisation.
Indeed, the company claims that, whereas centrifugal pumps have hitherto been the choice for slurry applications, peristaltic hose pumps are now half the price. And these units are claimed to handle extremely high dry solid content, up to 70% by volume.
