Smart vibration monitoring sensors, that can be interrogated by reversing the supply polarity, have been added to Monitran's MTN/2200 range.
Data available includes part and serial number, sensitivity and calibration data (making them ideal for for multiple sensors applications), and all sensors conform to IEEE-P1451.4.
As standard the 22001Y units operate between ±80g, display a rapid response to shock loading and can withstand forces in excess of 10,000g.
They have isolated ac outputs with sensitivities of 100mV/g (alternative sensitivities available) and are claimed to have good bias voltage stability – with typical drift less than 3mV/oC with a bias voltage of 11.6V.
