Crown Oil UK says its new red diesel for the construction, utility, plant and rail industries is now 100% carbon offset.
Managing director Matthew Greensmith explains: "Nine months ago, we decided to carbon-offset transportation of our diesel. This proved extremely popular, especially with clients in construction, where the pressure to reduce carbon is intense.
"The new 'green' diesel takes this a step further, so that companies can also use [our] diesel to contribute to their carbon reduction
commitment."
