New owners of the Flir T640 and T620 thermal cameras can now transmit images and radiometric data to their mobile devices wirelessly, using a freely downloadable app from the iPad app store.

The company says that the facility enables information to be shared immediately.
Plant engineers and technicians who register either of these cameras before 30 June 2013 will also qualify for a free 32GB iPad 3.
Alternative products are also available for those who already have mobile devices.
Owners can choose to receive two extra batteries for their T640 or T620 thermal imaging camera that provide up to five hours of extra inspection time in the field. Or they can opt for a Flir i7 lightweight troubleshooting thermal imaging camera.
