Infrared cameras specialist Flir makes the point that thermal imaging is now used across the trades and that infrared cameras are available for a range of duties – starting with so-called find-it-fix-it models.
For this reason, its infrared thermography catalogue (entitled Thermal Imaging Cameras for Predictive Maintenance) highlights the merits of spot-check thermal imaging cameras, before introducing the more sophisticated features of its T and P series.
Interestingly, it also provides a guide to the upgrade path that plant engineers and surveyors can take as they become more experienced in infrared inspection.
