Rotary vane compressor manufacturer Mattei has launched a range of gas boost compressors that ensure compliance with ATEX Zone 2.
Designed primarily for compressing methane gas in sweet, sour and biogas forms, they cover a range from 4—55kW, with 7bar standard and 10 and 13bar options.
To meet the demands of the sector, the gas ends are all available with a modulating control from zero to maximum, a choice of flanged or threaded intake connections and integrated or remote coolers.
Andy Jones, general manager at Mattei, says that, in addition, triple thermistor temperature protection ensures 100% safe operation, while the lubricant has also been designed with the gas sector in mind.
