Boge has launched a compact, stand alone heat recovery system for compressed air users wanting to optimise energy usage.
Dubbed Duotherm, it can recover up to 94% of the input energy used in compression, in the form of heat for space heating or pre-heating water used industrial processes, according to the company.
The unit connects into the oil circuit of the compressor, using no external energy, and can be used with any make of rotary screw compressor.
Currently, there are five versions for oil injected screw compressors of any make or model from 7.5 to 110kW.
