Jungheinrich's 3-Series counterbalance forklift trucks use the same hydrostatic drive technology (self-contained hydraulic pump and motor systems) as its earlier 4-Series.
The company claims "class-leading" fuel efficiency, productivity, safety and reliability.
Test cycles show that over 2000 hours of typical operation, a 3-Series shouuld save £2,000 in fuel costs, compared with a similar capacity counterbalance truck based on conventional torque converter technology.
