Flir says its E-Series compact camera range is "the best value in thermal imaging and digital camera resolution we have ever offered".
It means enhanced imaging quality and more analysis functions bundled into four versions of an entry level thermal camera.
E60 is the top-of-the-range, providing 76,800 pixels from its 320 x 240 uncooled detector, which can measure thermal anomalies down to 0.05°C.
Three of the models also allow real-time thermal imaging at 60Hz for moving components and dynamic events, revealing details that a 9Hz camera will miss.
And users will get good images, even in dark environments, thanks to an LED lamp on the front of the camera. All models also come with a laser pointer to help associate hot spots on the thermal image with the physical target.
