Following what Flir Systems describes as significant demand for its T335 and B335 thermal imaging camera, the company says it is now able to "pass on manufacturing economies to customers."
Hence, these 320 x 240 pixel models – launched two years ago and originally carrying a price tag of £9,995 – are now available at less than £6,000, until the end of this year.
Flir says that, in addition to image quality, these models are also compact and lightweight, as well as having the tiltable optical block, LCD touch screen, 'picture in picture' fusion, text annotation, WiFi and Meterlink connectivity.
A choice of lenses is also optionally available to extend the application scope of these highly popular cameras.
